Get to know midlands Blackwork tattoo artist Sammy Leigh guesting in London this month

Get to know Sammy Leigh, sammy.tattoo, visiting The Good Fight Tattoo Studio in London the 20th - 22nd January.

“I’m from the midlands but I live in Liverpool with my husband and our two dogs Maple and Goose. I started working in tattoo studios when I was around 16/17, but didn’t really find my style until around 5 years ago.

 It was my dream job from around age 13 when I predictably watched Miami and LA ink and thought being a woman in tattooing looked super cool and really fun!  

Always wanting to create a safe and inviting space for anyone to get tattooed in and feel comfortable.

 I work with the super talented bunch at Bold as Brass, and outside of tattooing I’m a fiction writer, just finished my MA in writing and am finishing up my debut novel.”
