Belle Noire
Belle began tattooing in 2017 in Bournemouth after leaving the Armed Forces to pursue her passion — tattooing — something she had always been keenly interested in since watching Miami Ink with her father in the early 2000s back home in Leicester (where she spent her formative years, though she’s never lost the accent!).
As a young teenager captivated by the world of tattooing, she knew it was what she was meant to do. She spent years perfecting her art and illustration, often creating commissions while serving in the Royal Navy — sketching on dark, stormy nights at sea. The day she walked out of those heavy-duty gates, she took her portfolio into a studio, and the rest is history!
Belle secured her apprenticeship in 2016, completed her first tattoo in 2017, and moved to London at the start of 2020. She loves all things colourful and whimsical, often creating pop culture tattoos and vibrant animal designs. She also enjoys working in blackwork and exploring the darker, creepier aspects of illustration — always with a softer, artistic touch.
From fantasy and Disney to horror and gothic architecture, she embraces the variety that different styles bring to the art form.
Enjoys: Disney, Neo-Traditional, Pop Culture, Fantasy, Gothic Illustration, Blackwork & Florals.
