From Hong Kong to Tattooing in London

Sara studied Fine Art in London, where she developed her creative and drawing skills and began to develop an interest in tattooing.

She started tattooing in London in 2021, previously working at 11 Studios in King's Cross before joining The Good Fight Tattoo in Camden in 2023.

Growing up in Hong Kong, Sara experienced attitudes towards tattoos that could often be negative. Choosing to challenge those perceptions, she found tattooing to be a way of expressing identity and creativity, while also helping to bridge the gap for members of London's Asian community who may have their own complicated relationship with tattoo culture.

Tattooing has also given Sara a way of reconnecting with her own roots.
