Nick Whybrow

Nick started tattooing in 2003. He'd known since childhood that he was going to be tattooed. Heavily influenced by the punk and skate scene of the ‘80s and '90s, Nick was really interested in seeing the markings on people’s skin and how it could change how the person was perceived.

In the late ‘90's, whilst pursuing a career in music, Nick got his first few tattoos and was hooked. The tattoo world was exciting, transformative and intoxicating - it was more than a career; it was a way of life and a lifestyle that he'd always wanted.

After spending years brushing up on his drawing skills, Nick started out on his tattooing journey with an apprenticeship in Colchester. A couple of years later, knowing he needed to branch out and work amongst other great artists, he began exploring the wider world of tattooing. He worked and guested at world-renowned studios around the globe, including Immortal Ink, Skinwear, Two Hands, Salon Serpent, Devils Ink, Parliament, Scapegoat, and so many more. For the last 15 years Nick has called London home, and after working at different studios he decided it was time to see if what he'd learned along the way would make a tattoo studio the way he'd always wanted. So, here we are.

Although Nick has developed a very distinctive etching style, his years of his experience means he’s adept at everything from illustrative and linework through to neo-traditional and Japanese. He just loves to make great tattoos, and have a good time in the process.
